Small Group Travel

You may know me from past adventures with Peregrine Adventures, Tibet Windhorse Adventure or Griffon Expeditions. With over 25 years of expedition style travel experience in exotic destinations such as the Himalayas, Antarctica and Papua New Guinea I bring extensive experience to crafting small group adventures. COVID may have clipped our wings for a while - but with challenges come opportunities. I’ve been exploring my own backyard here in Australia and rediscovering why its such an amazing place to live.

  • Rafting the Franklin River

The Franklin River is where my guiding career began way back in the 90s. Over the years, over 350 cumulative days on the river has left an indelible impact on me and I find my self returning to river year after year. If you’re into wilderness river running and/or just want to experience a true adventure trip in one of the most spectacular remote and wild areas of Australia then you MUST get down the Franklin River.

  • Seakayaking Instruction

I first began seakayaking when I was teenager and by the time I was 18yo led my first multi-day expedition to South West Tasmania. In 2022 I finally completed what some call the “Everest of seakayaking” - paddling Bass Strait from Tasmania to mainland Australia. I’m passionate about sharing my love of kayaking and the ocean with others. Get in touch and I can design and deliver a program customized for your abilities and ambitions.

  • The Louisiade Arcipelago P.N.G

Paddling this remote island chain off the eastern end of Papua New Guinea is one of the most fantastic remote seakayak expeditions anywhere on this planet. Our adventurous itinerary includes traveling in local banana boats to access the islands then sailing back on a local outrigger at the conclusion of the expeditions. We fish for food and trade with the local melanesian islanders for fresh fruit and veges. If you’re into seakayaking and ocean journeys this trip is a MUST.

  • Paddle Hinchinbrooke Island

Situated off the coast of Far North Queensland, paddling the tropical paradise of Hinchinbrook Is. is one of the worlds best seakayaking adventures and the perfect Australian winter getaway. Imagine warm waters, sandy beaches and tropical sunsets. Seakayaking is the perfect way to decompress from the stress of everyday life and reconnect with nature.
