A Tibet Tourism Education Portal
This site provides educational materials for university teachers, vocational trainers and local community leaders involved in tourism training and education. This site was created by Columbia University’s Tibet Ecotourism Project – a multifaceted project that trained tourism teachers/trainers, tour guides and general tourism industry stakeholders and created specific tourism training materials. Most of the material has been specifically created for application in Tibetan areas of China but much of the material is also relevant to other Himalayan and developing mountain regions.
